Frequently asked questions
Your question is not covered? Write to us directly at media@mignuti.com
When do I need a web app instead of a website?
As soon as users sign in, enter data or manage something. A website informs, a web application works: bookings, dashboards, customer portals, internal tools. The rule of thumb — if two visitors should see different things after logging in, you need an application.
How are accounts and permissions handled?
We build on Supabase with PostgreSQL and row level security. Access rules live in the database itself, not just the frontend — a tampered client still cannot reach other people’s data. Roles such as owner, editor and viewer are tailored to your case.
Can existing tools be connected?
Yes. Payments through Stripe, notifications to Slack or email, calendar and Google services, plus any REST or GraphQL interface. If your existing system has an API we connect it; if it does not, we build the layer in between.
Where is the data stored?
In the EU. That is not a toggle, it is decided at setup and stays that way. For GDPR-relevant projects we document which data flows where so you can carry it straight into your record of processing activities.
How is it tested?
Automatically, on several levels: unit tests for the logic, end-to-end tests for the actual user journeys and, for multi-tenant applications, a dedicated suite for data isolation between customers. That is the one thing which must never break in such a system.
How we work
No mystery. No 47-page proposals. Just four steps from 'hello' to 'it's live'.
Discovery
We listen. What's the goal? Who are the users? What's the budget? No fluff call — just the stuff that matters.
Design
Wireframes, then visuals. You see it before we build it. Feedback loops, not surprises.
Development
We build in sprints with regular demos. You see progress weekly, not after 3 months of silence.
Launch & Beyond
Deploy, test, monitor. And then we stick around. Updates, fixes, new features — we're not going anywhere.
Let's build something that matters.
No pitch decks. No 3-week onboarding. Just tell us what you need — we'll take it from there.
